Fashion Needs A Makeover

The Problem

The fashion industry is the second-largest polluter in the world. Approximately 8,000 synthetic chemicals are used in fashion manufacturing and most of them are known carcinogens and hormone disruptors. These toxins do not just wash away from the garment they are absorbed by the skin leading to possible health implications.

Our Promise

Synthetic chemicals birthed in laboratories are designed to kill something, preserve something, clean something or mask the symptoms of something. They will outlive us unless we take action.

All of our products are designed by Jeff in the most sustainable manner possible and extensively tested to ensure the highest quality.

Protecting Your Body

What you put ON your body is as important as what you put IN your body. Textile-related chemicals can be toxic to humans; some are known carcinogens, others are hormone disruptors, and still others have been linked to reproductive health issues.

Fashion manufactures claim that these toxins are not harmful yet no studies have been done by them…only claiming and no one accounts for the the synergy of effect with one chemical mixing with another and what impact that has on the human body. For example when your aluminum in your deodorant changes the dye color in your t-shirt after sweating underneath your arms. Synergy of effect and going straight into your lymph nodes under your armpit.

Health Of Our Workers

We believe we can affect a change and improve the health and wellbeing of all the beautiful people that help to create each of our undergarments.

We looked to nature and found non-toxic alternatives, to create a 100% sustainable non-toxic supply chain that protects our employees from the hazards plaguing the fashion industry.

The Environment

Two of the major environmental concerns both involve one of earth’s most precious resources – Water. Toxic runoff from dyes and microfibers is produced during fabrication and from washing after each use at home.

These toxic dyes and microfibers leaches into our ground water that we drink and also ends up in our waterways and oceans. Naturally anti-bacterial hemp fabrications can be used in conjunction with natural dyes and don’t have to be washes after each use like synthetic garments. Hemp’s antibacterial properties also mean it can be washed with more mild natural detergents which protect our body and waterways from additional toxins found in most of these products.

Plant-Power vs

Synthetics

Plant-Power vs Synthetics

The problem with most petroleum-based

underwear is it exposes our most sensitive

areas to toxic fibers, dyes and metals.

Constant exposure from the absorption of

these toxic chemicals adds to your

bioaccumulation levels thus running the risk of contracting a variety of diseases

and ailments among most cancer. On top

of that, synthetic fabrics are not

breathable creating an environment

where fungus and bacteria can flourish.

Your Skin Is Your Largest Organ

Your Skin Is Your Largest Organ

We make a choice every day that

affects our health and wellbeing. Too

often our focus is on what we put in

our bodies and not what we put on

our bodies, and yet our largest organ

(our skin) is absorbent.

Unlike our digestive system, our skin has no defense for processing toxins that are directly absorbed into our system as we were designed to be nude not clothed.

Boxer brief risks

Erectile Dysfunction

Endocrine disrupting synthetic chemicals doung all in nylon polyester stretch men’s boxers are linked with the infertility epidemic. The electrostatic charge created by the friction of polyester boxers lowers sexual activity and sperm levels. The human male scrotum is twenty times more permeable than any other section of skin on the human body. The archillie’s heel for toxic absorption.

Overall health, skin is the largest organ

We make choices every day that affect our health and wellbeing. Too often our focus is on what we put in our bodies and not what we put on our bodies, and yet our largest organ (our skin) is absorbent. A virtual witch’s brew of toxins absorbed in our body from clothing can create allergies, insomnia, immune disorders, cancer, and neurological disorders.

Prostate Cancer

Exposure to chemicals increases the risk of severe health issues as some of the toxins are known to be carcinogenic. Spandex is made using several chemicals including Toluene Diisocyanate, a known carcinogen and skin sensitizer. Nylon is formed from a reaction of diamine & Acetic acid and off gases formaldehyde a known carcinogen.

Get Intimate
With Plants

Are you the type of gal who googles a

guy before a first date to make sure he’s not a serial killer. Well it’s

time we start googling our underwear before we

decide to get intimate together.

Ladies Intimate hazards

Yeast, Bladder & Vaginal Infections

300 million women suffer from yeast, vaginal, and bladder infections each year - in part due to the toxic fabrics that don’t breathe and the harmful chemical dyes used to colour our undergarments.

Breast Cancer

Nylon bras release a carcinogenic toxin known as formaldehyde. Bras restrict movement and blood flow preventing the lymphatic system from eliminating toxins. Non porous, synthetic bras do not breathe, hold toxins, and lead to bioaccumulation of carcinogens in the fatty tissue surrounding the breasts.

Overall Health

Underwear is called intimate wear for a reason - it gets up close and personal with our most intimate self. These parts of our bodies are responsible for 100% relative absorption of the chemicals in our environment.

Soft-Hemp Benefits

Durable + Low Impact

Hemp is the strongest and most durable of all natural textile fibers

Natural Dye Compatible

Hemp’s porous nature allows it to hold natural dyes ten times better than cotton also using less water in the process

Saves Water

Our anti-bacterial fabric can to be worn multiple times before washing and hemp the uses the least amount of water for growing than any other natural fabric

Anti-Microbial

The flow of air or breathability of the porous nature of hemo hinders the growth of anaerobic bacteria thus giving hemp antimicrobial properties

COLORED BY NATURE

Avoid the heavy-metal laden, hormone-disrupting dyes and

opt for garments colored by the magic of nature.
